Thank you, Diane, for your heartfelt request. We join you in praying for your friends and family who are suffering and feeling alone. We will pray for you also as you ask the Lord to use you to help them. It is good that you are praying for salvation and hope for AJ, Tracy, and Molly. We are instructed in James 5:16:
If any among you is suffering, let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
We believe in the power of prayer and the effectiveness of praying specifically in the name of Jesus. In John 14:6 Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. It is good to acknowledge this in your prayers.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Diane's friends and family who are suffering and feeling alone. We pray for Your peace, wisdom, and protection to surround them. Guide them with Your wisdom, Lord, and use Diane as an instrument of Your comfort and support.
We specifically pray for AJ, Tracy, and Molly, that they may find salvation and hope in You, Lord. We are asking this in the name of Jesus Christ, recognizing that it is only through His name that we have access to You. Reveal Your love to them, and let them feel Your comforting presence in their lives.
We also pray for Diane, that You would guide her and give her the words to speak and the actions to take to be a blessing to those around her. Give her wisdom to know what to say and do to help her friends and family who are suffering.
We ask this in Jesus' name and according to Your will.
