We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your husband are facing. We will pray for your husband's health, his work situation, and your marriage. It's important to remember that God is the one who changes hearts and grants wisdom.
Firstly, we want to address that prayer should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, according to John 14:6, WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s husband. Lord, You see the stress and health issues he is facing. Please intervene and grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide him in his workplace, and give him the wisdom to make good decisions.
Father, we also pray for their marriage. We rebuke the spirit of belittling and pride, and we ask You to soften his heart towards his wife. Let him see her as a precious gift from You, and let his words and actions reflect that. Lord, please guide ### on how to support her husband and respond to his actions.
We also pray that you would deliver him from any strongholds or addictions, including drinking. We ask for your divine strength and intervention. May your Holy Spirit fill him and strengthen his will to overcome these.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body, particularly his hypertension. We pray for Your supernatural healing and restoration.
Lastly, Father, we pray for ###. Give her the strength, patience, and wisdom to support her husband and be a godly wife. Help her to be a light in this situation and to respond with love and kindness.
Please let this be a time where their marriage and faith grow stronger, and may both of them be filled with Your love and presence.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your mention of praying to Mary and Joseph, we encourage you to direct your prayers to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we are saved according to Acts 4:12, WEB: 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'
Please read Ephesians 5:22-33, WEB, for guidance on marriage:
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
