Miartelath, we are here to lift you up in prayer and to encourage you in the Lord. You've asked for peace of mind and heart, and we want to remind you that true peace can only be found in Jesus Christ. It is written in John 14:27 WEB, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come before God, be saved, and ultimately have peace. It is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Again it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In Isaiah 26:3 WEB, we read, "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you." This means your peace is contingent on your trust in God. To have a steadfast mind that is at peace, you must stay focused on God and the hope that is in Jesus Christ.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Miartelath. Lord, they have come to You with a troubled heart and mind, seeking the peace that only You can provide. We pray that You will guard Miartelath's heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to turn their worries into prayers, knowing that You are always there to listen and to help. Give them the strength to trust in You, even in the midst of their troubles. Fill them with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them through their distress and grant them wisdom according to Your word.
We also pray for faith in Jesus Christ who is the ultimate source of peace. If Miartelath has not believed in Jesus Christ and been baptized for the washing away of sin, we pray that they will consider this decision seriously and call on the name of the Lord. If they have already done so, we pray that they will maintain their focus on Jesus Christ so they may have peace. Help Miartelath to resist any temptations and live a life obedient to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Be strong and courageous. Keep a positive attitude. You can trust in God to help you in your challenging times.
