We understand your heartfelt desire for peace and unity within your family, and we join you in praying for these things. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will according to His Word.
Firstly, let's remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 (WEB), "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Donโt let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." This peace that Jesus offers is not merely the absence of conflict but a deep, abiding peace that comes from knowing Him.
Regarding your daughter, we pray that God will guide her in His perfect timing. It's important to remember that marriage is a sacred union instituted by God, and He has a perfect plan for each of us. In Proverbs 18:22 (WEB), it is written, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We pray that God will bring a godly spouse into her life in His perfect time, and that they will both honor God in their marriage.
Concerning your son, we lift him up in prayer, asking God to guide his steps and bring him back home if it is His will. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust that God has a good plan for your son and for your family.
However, we must also remember that while we pray for our desires, it's crucial to align our will with God's. In all our prayers, we should include, "Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done," as Jesus prayed in Luke 22:42 (WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up shazzy and their family. Lord, we ask for Your peace to reign in their family, for Your will to be done in their daughter's life, and for Your guidance and direction for their son. We pray that You would bring them all together in unity and love, according to Your perfect plan and timing. In all these things, we ask that Your will be done, and that shazzy would find comfort and hope in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as He says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, โI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Keep trusting in Him and keep praying in His name.
