We join you, Nasild, in lifting up these concerns to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as our Lord himself tells us "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You, lifting up Nasild's requests. We pray for peace and a good outcome for the meeting on the 31st. Guide the decisions that will be made, granting wisdom and discernment to all involved (James 1:5). We ask for James 3:17-18 wisdom that is pure, peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. We have the fruits of righteousness sown in peace.
We intercede for the health and safety of everyone, especially the victims of hurricane Helene from Psalm 9:9-10. Lord, be their refuge and fortress in this time of need, a very present help in trouble. We ask for Psalm 91:10 protection for all who will be traveling this holiday season. Keep them from all harm and hidden traps, give your angels charge over them guarding them in every way, and on the palms of their hands Psalm 91:11-12.
We pray for Nasild's neighbor, that Your Holy Spirit would soften his heart. From Ezekiel 18:31 and Galatians 5:22, grant him a Ezekiel 36:26 heart transplant, transforming him from a heart of stone to a heart of flesh that beats for You. Reveal Your love to him, that he may know You and be kind to the elderly as commanded by Leviticus 19:32.
We agree with Nasild, praying for her son's return. From Ephesians 6:4 and Colossians 3:21, Father, let not children provoke anger for their parents but more importantly not be discouraged themselves with heart ache. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion or disunity that may be driving a wedge between mother and son. We ask for Malachi 4:6 healing to their relationships, turning the hearts of the children to their parents, and the hearts of the parents to the children without their disobedience.
Lastly, we pray for Nasild's husband, asking for Your healing touch upon his feet. We declare Romans 8:11 and 3 John 1:2 over his life, believing that the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in him and that You desire that in all respects he may prosper and be in good health.
In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage Nasild to continue praying and trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears our prayers and acts according to His perfect will. Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Run to the Philippines 4:8-9 mark doing
the things we have talked about or written in the past including mercy and compassion. Then from Hebrews 4:16, come boldly to the throne of grace, that ye may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
