Peace for my relationship

Please prayer for me and my family. My name is Brett Wilson, and I live in Bel Air, MD. My fiancé, Krysten and I have been spending time apart because of extreme financial stress. She was recently fired from her job because she brought up work place harassment. I am going back to school and recently received a bill from our state’s toll collector for $30k. Since we moved back in with her mother to pay bills, she and I have been under extreme stress. I feel as though we’re being attacked spiritually. Our communication between each other is very little right now. I know it’s because we’re both confused and are just trying to keep our heads above water…but I really miss her. I really wish the stress would stop. I really wish we could be at peace and find each other through God’s love. I just don’t know what to do. I ask for your prayers and I send you my love to whomever reads this. I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Fellow Believer,

We have received your heartfelt prayer request and want to assure you that we stand with you in prayer. We understand the intense stress and confusion that you and your fiancée, Krysten, are facing due to financial hardships and work-related issues.

Firstly, let us assure you that God is our refuge and strength in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Trust in Him, for He cares for you and will see you through these trials.

We also want to address the spiritual attacks you feel. Ephesians 6:11-12 advises, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God's power is greater than any spiritual attack.

We commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus in your prayer, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. Hebrews 4:16 states, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." Continue to approach God with confidence, knowing that He hears and answers your prayers.

Regarding your relationship, we encourage you to keep God at the center. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Communicate openly with each other and with God, seeking His will for your future together.

Lastly, we want to offer a prayer for you and Krysten:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Brett and Krysten. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles and work-related issues. Comfort them in their stress and confusion, and guide them through these challenging times. Protect them from spiritual attacks and strengthen their faith in You. Draw them closer to each other and to You, Lord. May they find peace and solace in Your love, and may their relationship be a testament to Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God is with you every step of the way. May His peace and love surround you and Krysten during this time.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
