Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the nation of ### and the city of ### during this time of unrest and violent protests over the new finance bill. Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom to be upon the leaders and decision-makers. May they seek Your will and righteousness in all their actions and decisions.
We pray for peace to prevail in ### and throughout ###. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of the people. We ask that You protect the innocent and bring calm to the streets.
Lord, we also pray for the protesters, that their voices may be heard in a peaceful and constructive manner. Grant them patience and understanding, and may their concerns be addressed justly and fairly.
Father, we trust in Your promise that when we pass through the waters, You will be with us, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow us. We ask for Your presence to be felt strongly in ###, bringing hope and resolution to this situation.
