Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our intercessor. Lord, You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and You hold all power and authority over the nations and the seas. We bring before You the situation in the international waterway controlled by The Philippines, which is facing challenges due to China's actions.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this matter. We pray for Secretary of State Blinken as he meets with President Marcos today. Grant him wisdom, clarity, and vision to address the concerns regarding the militarization and threats in the South China Sea. May their discussions lead to peaceful resolutions and actions that ensure the safety and security of the waters and the people who depend on them.
Lord, we ask for protection over the peaceful fishermen of The Philippines who rely on these waters for their livelihood. Shield them from any acts of terrorism, aggression, or harm. We pray against any tactics that seek to disrupt their lives, such as water cannons, ramming, or poisoning of the fish. May their rights and livelihoods be safeguarded, and may they continue to fish in peace.
We declare Your sovereignty over the seas and ask that You bring about peace, stability, and justice in the South China Sea. We trust in Your unfailing love and power to work in the hearts and minds of those involved, bringing about a resolution that promotes harmony and cooperation among nations.
In accordance with Your Word, we pray for the leaders of the nations involved, that they may seek Your guidance and make decisions that align with Your will. We also pray for the people of The Philippines, that they may find comfort and strength in You during these challenging times.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your peace reign over the waters, and may Your justice prevail. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
