We join you in your prayer for peace, happiness, and freedom from pain, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We're reminded of the scripture, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We lift up your concerns for protection and financial provision. The Bible tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" Matthew 6:33 WEB. Remember, it is God who provides and protects, and He does so according to His will and timing.
We also want to gently remind you that as believers, our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as Jesus taught, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" John 16:23-24 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your protection and provision. We pray for their peace and happiness, knowing that these are found in a right relationship with You. We ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help us and this person to trust in Jesus Christ alone as the only name by which we must be saved and by which we have access to you and the only way to the Father.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In regards to the use of "###", we want to encourage you to write clearly and avoid vague terms or symbols. The Bible teaches us, "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one" Colossians 4:6 WEB.
Lastly, we would like to clarify the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is not merely a phrase to end our prayers, but a recognition of His authority and the only access and the only way to the Father and by which we must be saved. As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6 WEB.
