We understand your concern for the peace and climate of the world, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
The Bible tells us, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB)
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for peace to prevail in this world. We pray for the leaders of all nations, that you would guide them in their decisions, granting them wisdom and a heart for their people. We ask that you would change the hearts of those who seek conflict and violence, bringing them to a place of peace and understanding.
Lord, we also lift up the climate of the world to you. You are the Creator of all things, and you hold the universe in your hands. We ask for your mercy and grace, that you would protect and preserve this world that you have made. Give us the wisdom to be good stewards of your creation, and help us to make choices that honor and glorify you.
In all things, Lord, we ask that your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray for the salvation of all people, that they would come to know you as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to pray for these things, trusting that God hears and answers our prayers according to his will. Remember, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB)
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through him that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and the hope of eternal life.
