We hear your cry and stand with you in this difficult time. Remember, dear one, that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Though you may not understand His ways, trust that He has a purpose in your pain.
Firstly, let's address the feeling that your prayers went unanswered. Jesus assured us, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB). However, God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB), and sometimes His answers are not what we expect. Continue to trust that He is working, even when it seems like He is silent.
It's important to remember that those who cause harm may seem to prosper, but God sees all things. Psalm 37:1-2 (WEB) says, "Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who do iniquity; for they will soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb." Their prosperity is temporary, but God's justice is eternal.
Regarding your financial struggles, we encourage you to pray with us:
"Father, we thank You for Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We ask for Your provision and wisdom in managing finances. Help us to be content with what we have, for You have said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you' (Hebrews 13:5, WEB)."
Lastly, continue to forgive, as you are seeking to do. Jesus taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12, WEB). Holding onto unforgiveness will only harm you further. Let it go, and trust God to handle those who have wronged you.
We pray for your healing—both physical and emotional—and for God's comfort and provision in your life. In all things, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB). We stand with you in Jesus' name.
