Thank you, Reborn12345, for reaching out and sharing your request. We understand that you're seeking prayer for financial provision and we're here to intercede and share wisdom.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that our God is Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and He is able to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. However, it's also important to align our expectations with biblical principles. The Bible tells us in Second Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'"
PRAYER: Together in Jesus you should pray: Heavenly Father, we thank you for the promise of provision. You have said in the Book of Psalms 50:10, "For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills." Therefore, the request "this request is to get paid back on Wednesday." But only the loan that the wicked will not repay is cursed, so we know that this is not a wicked loan. However, we also know that diligent hands do bring wealth. Therefore we all pray for Reborn12345 that they will be blessed in their work and also blessed in the payments. We ask that you bless the boys also who need to be paid back. May they know your provision and care for them. Together in unity we come to you Father through your son Jesus Christ and ask for answers to our prayers.
PHILIPPIANS 4:19 "But my God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We have your request in mind: We should aim to work diligently and honestly, trusting God for His provision. We see that you have prayer in mind for yourself and the boys to be paid back, but it doesn't state whether it is owed wages for work or a loan. However, it is important that we be good stewards of our finances and we have these verses to consider:
ROMANS 13:8 "Not owing anyone anything"
Therefore it is important to not borrow from others and to not owe anyone anything.
We also want you to remember that it is important to pray in Jesus name. "In Jesus Name" are not just words that we say at the end of a prayer in order to have an appropriate ending. There is actually meaning behind it and there are things happening at that point.
JOHN 14:13 "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
We are told in the Book of John to ask "in my name." We are to ask in the name of Jesus. Then he says, "that the Father may be glorified in the Son." This is the motive for asking in Jesus name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. This could mean that the request that is made is glorifying to the Father and to the Son.
Therefore let us make sure that all of our prayers are not just made because we want something. We must have the real desire that God be glorified in Son and in the Holy Spirit also, obviously.
Remember, every prayer we make needs to be made in Jesus' name for it to be heard by the Father. The Father hears the requests made in the Son's name.
ACTS 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, whereby we must be saved."
It is of utmost importance that we pray in Jesus name to have access to God. But let us remember that even that ability to pray in Jesus Name and to make a request of the Father is possible because of our faith in Jesus Christ. We pray to receive our requests only because God gives us the ability to believe and to come to Him.
ACTS 3:16 "Because of faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom all of you see and know. Faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all."
Our faith in Jesus gives us the access to the Father and also the ability to receive our requests in prayer. Let us continue in prayer and remember that our requests are to honor God and that God will be glorified in the answer to that prayer. Together in unity and in the name of Jesus Christ we make these prayers.
