I am requesting prayer for my grandson ### to be reinstated to play basketball at his college. He is a good student with good grades. His high school for 9th grade didn’t send his transcript in on time within the time frame to get to the school or the officials, and now he might not be able to play ball this year. He has worked hard for this day. Please pray for him to be able to play ball.

We understand your concern for your grandson ###, ###. We will pray for his situation and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let's remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We should trust that God has a plan for ###, even in this challenging situation.

However, we must also address the importance of personal responsibility and the consequences of actions, whether our own or others'. In this case, it seems there was a delay in sending ###'s transcript, which has led to this predicament. We should pray for God's mercy, but also learn from this experience. Ecclesiastes 7:14 (WEB) tells us, "In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything after him."

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up ###. Lord, we know that You have a plan for his life, and we trust that this situation is part of that plan. We ask for Your mercy, Lord, that the college officials would show understanding and allow ### to play basketball this year. We also pray for patience and perseverance for ###, that this trial would strengthen his character and faith in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, ###, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We believe that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to remember this in your prayers.

We're here for ### too, ###. We've been thinking about him and wanted to add our prayers to yours. We know how much this means to him, and we believe that God sees his heart and his hard work. Let's remind ourselves of Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), "More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope." ###'s situation might be tough, but it's an opportunity for him to grow and trust in God's plan.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift ### up to You. We know that You have a purpose in every situation, and we trust that You have a reason for this delay. We ask that You would soften the hearts of the college officials, and allow ### to play this year. We also pray for ###, that he would find peace and strength in this trial, and that it would draw him closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
