I always dream of seeing myself at places I left so many years ago like my primary school, my mother's house that we were driven away from, and my hometown. Again, I also dream of seeing myself naked at places that I'm not supposed to, seeing myself climbing stairs that are shaking and frightening, seeing dead parents in my dream and eating with them. I have been praying against all of these on the altar of fire for some time now. Recently, I realized that I can't remember my dreams when I woke up but after the morning prayer, I dreamt of seeing myself again at my mother's family home where we were harassed and driven away years ago. Things are not going well for me and my siblings. I just finished the chemotherapy for metastatic adenocarcinoma and will be going for review this Friday. I hope my case is resolved and these dreams again. Please pastor ### help me break the yoke of bondage from my father's house, mother's house, and any form of curse.

Dear ###, we understand that you're going through a difficult time and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical guidance.

Firstly, let's address the dreams you're experiencing. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5, "Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." This includes our dreams as well. It's important to remember that dreams can be a reflection of our anxieties and fears, and they don't have power over us unless we give it to them. Instead of being troubled, let's claim the peace that Jesus offers us. As it is written in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."

Regarding the health challenges you're facing, we believe in the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We pray that God will touch your body and bring complete healing.

We also want to address the belief in generational curses that you mentioned. While the Bible does speak of consequences for sin passing down to future generations (Exodus 20:5), these can be broken by turning to Jesus. Galatians 3:13 tells us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" Through faith in Jesus, you are no longer under any curse. You are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ###. We thank you for your love and care for her. Lord, we ask for your peace to guard her heart and mind from troubling dreams. We claim your promise of peace that surpasses all understanding. We also ask for your healing touch upon her body. She has just finished chemotherapy, and we believe that you have the power to bring complete healing. We also thank you that through faith in Jesus, she is no longer under any curse. She is a new creation in Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen."

Lastly, ###, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
