We understand your concern and we are here to pray and support you. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our health and employment. It is also important that you are believing in the name of Jesus Christ for whom all prayers are made through.
Remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and God wants you to be in good health. The Bible tells us, "Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's" 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing health challenges, specifically high blood pressure. Lord, You know the importance of this physical exam for their job. We ask You to intervene and stabilize their blood pressure, bringing it below 140/90 for the exam.
We also pray for long-term success in controlling their blood pressure. Guide the doctors treating them, and give them wisdom to manage their health effectively. Help them to make any necessary lifestyle changes that will promote better health.
Father, we trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind during this time. Help them to know you better through your son Jesus Christ, in whose name and by whose sacrifice we are saved and have access to you. If they are not familiar with Jesus Christ or his saving grace, we pray that you give them a desire to know you and a heart to understand your love for them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Only through the name of Jesus do we have access to approach God. The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
We also encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28 WEB.
