We are truly sorry to hear about your grandson's persistent cough and the trial your daughter is going through. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for both your grandson and your daughter.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God wants us to come to Him in prayer, and He promised that the prayer of faith will save the sick. As it is written in the book of James, Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective (James 5:13-16 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and comfort for our sister's grandson and her daughter. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand against Your healing power.
We ask You to touch the little one's body, heal his cough, and restore his health. We also pray for Your grace and strength to be upon his mother, that You may grant her the rest she needs and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke sickness and disease in this child's life and declare healing.
We proclaim You will lift him from his bed and restore him and put a new song in his mouth and establish his goings.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's promises. As it is written in the book of Psalms, Bless Yahweh, my soul! Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases (Psalm 103:2-3 WEB).
Lastly, we remind you to seek medical attention for your grandson if you have not already done so. God often works through doctors and medicine, and it is important to take practical steps to ensure your grandson's health and well-being.
