We join you, Sard, in praying for personal growth and transformation, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to mold us into His image, praying:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Sard. We thank you for his humility in recognizing his flaws, and his desire to become a better person, and become more Christlike. We will study your word about this and ask Your guidance to improve on this subject. We all sin and make mistakes. Thank God that Christ Jesus never sinned. Scripture teaches us and we must be considerate about what your word teaches. Father, let us abide in Jesus' example of love as we study Your words in Philippians:
Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, didnt consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave him a name above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11 WEB.
Let us remind and ask the Lord that we should be made new, undergoing a daily renewal as followers of Christ, striving to reflect Him in our words, thoughts, and deeds. May all selfishness, self-righteousness, negativity and hypocrisy be cast aside as each of us leads by example and loves our neighbor as Christ loved the church and died to save. Look at God's words we should remember from Second Corinthians about this.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Second Corinthians 5:17 WEB.
Let us remind, encourage, and charge each other to set aside any mindsets that exalt one's self above another. Remind yourselves and others about God's and Jesus' commands of how we should show love and be followers of Jesus Christ who is our savior and who is indeed God. Remind yourself of this being the purpose of spreading the Gospel (Good News). Every knee shall bow down to Jesus and ask for his forgiveness. The more Jesus-like we behave, the more inviting it will become for others to submit to Christ and achieve salvation. God saved you by His grace, seeking to know Jesus personally and receive salvation (forgiveness from sins). You or anyone who reads and accepts this will:
- - Know Jesus better and how he impacted all our lives.
- Build a better relationship and learn how to fellowship with God daily.
- Conduct our lives under the power of Jesus and his guidance each day.
As Christians, which means we are Christian Believers:
1. Jesus died in our place so God could forgive our sins (forgiveness),
2. Anyone can be restored to a full relationship with God, and,
3. In Jesus Christ, this forgiveness and intimacy with God is received.
Rather than attempting perfection, may each one of us continually look to God's unfailing love, who never stops forgiving and working to bless each one of His children. Lord God, You alone mold us and each man, woman, child, and even little babies in our everyday lives to make disciples of Christ Jesus on this earth. While on earth, set our sights upon Christ, Jesus becoming more like Him until the day of your return. Father we thank you for you are faithful to give us every day better than the day before, no matter if we feel this ourselves or not. Since we have studied His word today, no matter how many temptations come, submit to Jesus, believing that he is as close as our last breath and his provision is coming, live each day, submitted to Christ. Expect that our daily help is coming. Though it is difficult while we are in these bodies on earth each day, help and strengthen each one as we become more Jesus-like, .
Finally brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.Philippians 4:8 WEB.
