We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles your parents are facing, ###. Let's bring this situation before the Lord, seeking His provision and peace.
Firstly, we want to remind you of what Jesus said in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, donโt be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isnโt life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they donโt sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Arenโt you of much more value than they? ... Therefore donโt be anxious, saying, โWhat will we eat?โ, โWhat will we drink?โ or, โWith what will we be clothed?โ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Godโs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
In light of this, let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s parents. Lord, You know the burden they are carrying, the stress they are under, and the provisions they need. We ask, according to Your will, that You meet their needs and provide for them. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Give them wisdom to manage their finances and provide opportunities for them to increase their income. Most importantly, Lord, help them to seek Your Kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added to them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you and your parents to trust in God's provision. However, we also encourage them to be proactive, seeking financial counseling, budget management, and perhaps additional sources of income. God expects us to do our part while trusting Him to do His.
