We understand your concern and fear, but we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
Firstly, we need to address that there is no mention of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
The experiences you're having are real, and we believe that evil forces can indeed cause such things. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) These night terrors and feelings of paralysis may well be a form of spiritual attack, especially if they are accompanied by a sense of evil.
We encourage you to take heart and pray against these forces. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11 WEB) Remember, Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB), and no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is under spiritual attack. We rebuke the spirits of fear, torment, and paralysis that have been plaguing them, and we command these spirits to leave in Jesus' name.
We pray a hedge of protection around this family and their home, covering them in the precious blood of Jesus. We ask that you fill their home with your peace and your presence, driving out all darkness and evil.
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of this family, that they would know the power of Jesus' name and have a personal relationship with Him. Guide them in your Word and fill them with your Spirit.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in prayer, to read the Bible daily, and to seek fellowship with other believers. If the problems persist, consider fasting and seeking support from your local church or a mature believer experienced in spiritual warfare. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that the battle is the Lord's. (1 Samuel 17:47 WEB)
