We understand that you're seeking prayer for a smooth process in your permanent residency application. Before we pray together, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of those who will be reviewing your documents.
We are specifically told to pray for our leaders and those in authority in 1 Timothy 2:1-3 WEB:
First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.
It's important to remember God's will in our prayers, our prayers should conform to his will. In this case we can all agree that God's will is for us to live peaceable and quiet lives. And that is ultimately what this prayer is about.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother, Erxeeside. Lord, you know the desires of his heart and the significance of the permanent residency he's applying for. We pray that you guide him through this process.
Father, we ask that you grant him IJN the wisdom and discernment to ensure all his documents are accurate and complete. We pray over every step of the process, that it would be smooth and free of any issues or delays. We ask that you soften the hearts of those reviewing his application, that they would be fair and compassionate.
Lord, Erxeeside mentioned a previous refusal. We know that you are a God of second chances, a God who can turn any situation around for good. We pray that this time, the outcome would be different, that this application would be successful.
Father, we ask that you align his will with yours in this process. If it is your will for him to receive this permanent residency, we ask that you make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that he will trust in you throughout this process, knowing that you are always working for his good.
We ask these things in Jesus Christ's name, for it is only by his name that we can be saved. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and your love.
Amen.
Erxeeside, remember that God is in control. Trust in him, and don't be anxious about this situation. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Also, remember that we will be upholding you in our prayers and we are trusting God with you. Finally, we are not sure if you have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. If not, please consider asking Jesus Christ into your life and trusting him for salvation from sin and death. If you have any questions about this please let us know.
