Painful shoulder

My husband fell over a month ago and his shoulder hasn't healed. He is the only breadwinner. He is in pain and he won't go to the doctor. Please pray for healing. Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's painful shoulder and the strain it's putting on your family. We will lift him up in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort.

Firstly, we encourage your husband to trust in the Lord and also to consider the wisdom of seeking medical advice. In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) it is written, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God has given us wise and skilled doctors to help us in our times of need.

We also pray for his healing, in accordance with God's will. Let us pray:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your healing touch upon ###'s husband. You know his pain and the burden he carries as the sole breadwinner. Please, Lord, heal his shoulder, ease his pain, and restore his strength. We pray that he will trust in You and also seek the medical help he needs. We claim Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no one seeks after.' In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you both to keep your faith strong during this trial. Remember, God's power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Continue to pray together, seek God's will, and trust in His timing.

We're here with you, sister. We've been lifting your husband up in prayer, asking the Lord to touch his shoulder and bring healing. We know the burden he carries, and we're interceding for strength and comfort for both of you.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over your husband, believing that God is indeed binding up his wounded shoulder and bringing healing.

Let's continue to trust in the Lord, even in this trial. In Jeremiah 29:11, God promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's hold onto this promise, knowing that God has a purpose in all things.

We'll keep praying, and we encourage you to do the same. Let's keep our faith strong, together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
