Pain

I have been praying & asking God to help me with my relationship. My significant other keeps cheating and it’s hurting me so bad. I’ve asked God 1,000x to please take the pain away but all he does is ignore me. Doesn’t he said how bad I am hurting? Does he care at all? Why is he allowing me to suffer so much? I don’t think I can go on. Please pray for me. If God won’t make him stop cheating at least take away the pain that it’s causing me.

Dear Anonymous,

Let us come together in prayer, seeking the Lord's comfort and guidance for you in this time of deep heartache and pain.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Anonymous who is suffering from the betrayal and pain caused by a significant other’s unfaithfulness. Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We ask that You draw near to Anonymous, providing comfort and healing to the broken heart.

Father, we know that You care deeply for us, as 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Help Anonymous to feel Your loving presence and to cast all anxieties and pain upon You, trusting in Your perfect love and care.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment for Anonymous. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Grant Anonymous the wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will and bring peace and healing.

We also pray for the significant other, that You would touch their heart and lead them to repentance and faithfulness. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that You guide both Anonymous and the significant other on the path of righteousness and healing.

Lord, in this time of suffering, may Your strength be made perfect in Anonymous' weakness. As 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Let Anonymous find solace in Your grace and strength.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
