Pain relief

I have been in pain with toothache since last night. I've tried everything. I cant even get to a dentist or call till tomorrow. Meanwhile it's making me miserable. I'm always so worried and need prayer for everyone else that I fail to take care of myself sometimes. But now I need prayer for myself for this pain to go away

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing, Brokennlost2. Let us come before the Lord together in your time of need.

In Matthew 11:28-29 (WEB), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls." Just as Jesus offers rest for our souls, we can come to Him in prayer for physical rest and healing.

Firstly, we lift up your physical pain to the Lord. Let us pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Brokennlost2. They are in pain, Lord, and we ask for Your healing touch. Please ease their discomfort and let Your healing power flow through their body. Give them the strength to endure until they can seek professional help. Lord, be with them through this night, comfort them, and remind them of Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to address your tendency to put others' needs before your own. While it's commendable to care for others, it's crucial to remember that you are also precious to God. In Ephesians 5:29 (WEB), it says, "For no one ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly." Just as the Lord cares for the assembly, He cares for you individually.

Let us pray that you find balance in caring for others and yourself:

"Lord Jesus, help Brokennlost2 find the balance between caring for others and caring for themselves. Remind them that they are also Your beloved child and that their needs matter to You. Give them the wisdom to know when to rest and when to serve. Fill their heart with Your peace and love. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to call on His name in your prayers, as it is the name above all names.
