Dear BlessedChristian, we join you in lifting up Sheri's mom for urgent pain relief. We stand in agreement with you, petitioning our heavenly Father for a miracle, as we are instructed in Matthew 18:19, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."
We pray, "Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your divine touch on Sheri's mom. Please ease her pain and grant her immediate relief. Lord, we ask that You intervene in the surgery schedule, that it may happen sooner if it is Your will, as we know all things are possible with You (Matthew 19:26)."
For Sheri, we pray for calmness, peace, and hope. We echo the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for family harmony, that Sheri may be able to empathize with her sister's needs, and that they may avoid topics that bring discord. We remember the words of Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
Finally, we pray for emotional support for the family, that they may be comforted and strengthened during this time. We remember the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We praise you, BlessedChristian, for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
As a compassionate rebuke, we encourage Sheri and her family to fully trust in God's timing and will, even in this difficult time. We remind them of Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"
We will continue to pray and believe with you for Sheri's mom and their family.
