Pain and Heartache

Dear Lord,

I do not know what to do. I’m exhausted with all of the problems being brought to me and no one caring about what I think or what I say. I am expected to drop everything for my family, but what about me? My energy is draining more and more each day as neither side is willing to admit fault or take responsibility for the incident that occurred. Both are to blame. They expect me to be the mediator and the diplomat while supporting their needs, but what about mine?

Why is it ok to talk about me behind my back when they rather not talk to me or understand where I am coming from? I need your grace and your mercy o lord to continue on each day even when I feel like I’m breaking apart. Please let them see the damage that they are doing- this is what my father would have wanted. I’m reaching out to you o lord may there be peace, harmony, and love during these grieving times.

I feel for you. I know what at least some of that is like. I understand you would have personal experiences that would differ from mine.

Dear Lord, I pray Hathyain will find his or her joy in you despite the family feud that needs mediation, pressure, and whatever is going on. It sounds like Hathyain is a bit of a scapegoat, and I pray that you will help Hathyain not cave when things don't line up with scripture even if what people say comes from Christian people. You are the authority Lord. I pray Hathyain will find peace, refuge, and protection from you. Lord, fight this battle for Hathyain as these people have been exhausting him or her. I pray for them to understand their faults, admit to them, and draw nearer to you in repentance, and that this family will get better and better at resolving conflicts, and the dysfunction will disintegrate. In Jesus's name, Amen.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Protect me God from all the plans of the enemy of my soul.
