We are truly sorry to hear about the chronic arthritis pain and suffering being experienced. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God's will is for your healing and restoration. Let us come together and lift this burden up to the Lord.
Firstly, we remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we come to God. As it is said in the Word, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In times of suffering, we can always trust in God's love and faithfulness. As we read in the Psalms, But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. I cry to Yahweh with my voice, and he answers me out of his holy hill. Selah. Psalm 3:3-4 WEB.
In the Bible, we are taught to come confidently before the throne of God seeking mercy and grace. Therefore let us draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 WEB.
We pray for healing, knowing that God has the power to restore your body. Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. Matthew 9:35 WEB.
We also pray for strength and endurance during this challenging time. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We pray that this pain is used to draw closer to God and that His purposes are fulfilled in this. We count it all joy when we fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance. James 1:2-3 WEB.
We also remember that God can use this time to teach and grow faith. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope Romans 5:3-4 WEB.
Finally, let us come together and pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is suffering from chronic arthritis. We ask for Your healing touch upon their life, easing their pain, and restoring their health. Grant them the strength and endurance to face each day with courage and faith. Help them to trust in Your goodness and love, even in the midst of their suffering. We believe that Your healing power is at work in their life. We also pray that they are growing stronger in faith. Encourage and comfort them as they continue to seek Your face. May they be used for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray.
Remember, even in the midst of trials, we can trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. Stay strong in faith, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith.
