Beloved of All
These last 7 years have been trying to say the least, I thank you Lord for your faithfulness, even when my faith was little. I have seen some losses, my dad, business, finances, friends and family, Thank you Lord for your faithfulness. I have seen your good, blessings, church growth, births, weddings, salvation, closure, roof over our head and food on our table, and also able to share, I thank you Lord for your faithfulness.
Some say, “ the Lord gives and the Lord takes awayâ€, but Job said that to his friends, I say the Lord is faithful, that even in our sorrows of this world, He is with us, He is able to change things, move things and Bless us in our sorrow. I think we are so wrapped up in our sorrow, that we fail to see His faithfulness, and we fail to just praise Him.
A childhood favorite, the Grinch who stole Christmas, and when he thought he had done it, he heard them singing, found that it wasn’t the lights, tree, presents, or food, it was something more, within them. They were singing, praising.
Oh Father, we praise you and we do thank you, forgive us our sins, our wrongs, be our help in the darkness around us, help us to overcome the sorrow, help us to sing again, help us to share with others a song of praise, show us how to live Godly lives, after Your heart, show us how to accomplish your will for us, show us Lord, for the darkness is overbearing, cruel and relentless, un forgiving . Our light dims, our strength flees, we need you, we cry out to you, our need is more than things of this world, we need you spiritually, mind, body and soul, our souls cry out to you. Christ taught us to ask, to believe , Father we are asking, we are believing, and may it be so according to our faith, Amen
