A person I know picked up on early in life that “you can’t have everything you see.†Later this was acted out as a central truth by doing everything one could to draw attention to themselves—to be seen by others—only to make themselves emotionally unavailable to others that get drawn to this person. The closer one could try to get the more distant the intimacy.  Ultimately this confused most and makes loneliness in a sea of people a constant theme. To find healing for this unfulfilled dynamic, a person with this problem must stop trying to be seen in herself and must learn to show others that in Christ she is so filled with the fullness of God that external validation is vain and meaningless. I pray she takes knowledge that “ you can’t have everything you see†and show others, through her own faith, that all social life is just empty show and that no emotional fulfillment can be had except in Christ.

O Glorious Trinity hear our voice of prayer according to the multitude of thy mercy. O loving and kind god Jesus Christ, my lord and my savior bless them and be with them. Make us worthy to receive your blessings. May your name be glorified now and forever Amen.

He Loves You......... Let’s Pray: God thank You for working out all things for my good. Don’t let me allow anything to distract me from remembering and resting in Your promises to me. Teach me how and help me to always keep my focus on You, Your Word, and the promises You made to me. Help me think clear righteous thoughts; thoughts of victory and not defeat. Bless and cause every desire I have to line up to Your Word and Your Will for my life. <><><> Protect me from all hurt, harm, and evil. Keep me safe. Don’t let anxiety and fear interfere or try to rule my life. Deliver Me Lord Jesus of every spirit that is not of you trying to destroy or hinder my walk with You. Fill my heart and mind with faith, peace, encouragement, courage, and determination to not give up. Don’t ever allow me to allow defeat to be an option in my life. God teach me how to stand upon Your promise with joy and faith, that all things will work out for my Good because I love You. And God all that I have asked of You to do for me in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen, so be it, and it is so.
