We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed, working constantly from Monday to Sunday, and seeking a driver job without success. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work and employment.
It's important to remember that God's Word tells us, Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.(Colossians 3:23 WEB) This means that even in your current job, you should continue to work diligently and honestly. God sees your efforts and will honor them in His time.
However, we also understand your desire for a driver job. We encourage you to continue seeking honestly and prayerfully. Remember, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.(Philippians 4:6 WEB)
Asking God for direction and provision is key. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.(Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) While you are searching God will uphold you as you continue to make Him first.
We also notice that you didn't mention prayer in the name of Jesus or a belief in Jesus Christ in your request. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have hope and access to God. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.(John 14:6 WEB) Therefore, God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.(Philippians 2:9-11 WEB) If you believe in Jesus, and confess that he is Lord and Savior, and that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.(Romans 10:9)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is seeking a new job. We thank You for his current employment, and pray the blessing of watching over him and provision.
Lord, we ask You, open the right doors for him. If it is Your will for him to have a driver job, guide him to it. Help him serve you in faithfulness and patience. Your timing is always best.
We pray that You will give him strength through this time and his burdens, and peace from the hope that only You and Your Son Jesus Christ provide.
Finally, may he always rest assured that You are a God who provides, who loves, and who is able to save.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
