Gilvon, we understand that you are facing a situation where you are awaiting an overdue and unpaid credit from a company. We will pray with you for a positive resolution, but we must also remind you of the importance of fairness, integrity, and patience. May we also remind you that God's will be done, not solely yours.
Firstly, let's consider the biblical principles of honesty and fairness. In Colossians 3:22-24 WEB, we are reminded that believers are to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. This applies to both parties in your situation. "Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not with services to the eye, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord."
We also remember that prayer should be focused on God's will and not solely on our desires. In 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, we read, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of our Jesus Christ
We lift up Gilvon, who is awaiting an overdue credit. Lord, we pray that the company's management will cooperate and fulfill their obligations promptly and fairly if it is your will. Guide Gilvon through this process, granting wisdom, patience, and understanding according to your will.
We also have not noticed that Gilvon has not mentioned or possibly forgotten to use the name of Jesus Christ in the prayer. We pray Gilvon remembers that it is only by His name that prayer is heard by God. Furthermore, also rebuke Gilvon for possibly suggesting that God will do whatever is asked instead of God's will being done. Proverbs 19:21 WEB, " Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is Yahweh’s purpose that prevails."
Help the management be honest in their earnings and allow them see the errors of they are doing wrong 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, to Gilvon, rebuke is fundamental to Christian growth. We encourage you to meditate on God's word and seek His will in all things such as prayer. James 4:3 WEB, "You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."
Also, remember to include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
