Overwhelming sadness

Today is such a very heavy day, remembering my late amazing father, ###, who passed 17 days ago. I am feeling an overwhelming flood of sadness and I don't even have the energy to pray. Please lift me in your prayers, in Jesus name. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your father, ###. It is natural to feel overwhelmed by sadness in such a time, but we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Even in your weakness and grief, His strength is made perfect.

As we lift you up in prayer, remember the words of the Apostle Paul: But we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you do not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, she is overwhelmed with sadness at the loss of her father, ###. We pray that You would comfort her in her grief, that You would be her strength when she feels weak, and her hope when she feels overwhelmed.

Father, we know that those who sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. We claim this promise for ###, that she would find hope and peace in knowing that her father is now with You. Help her to feel Your presence, to know Your love, and to find rest in Your grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, ###. We know the pain of loss is overwhelming, like a storm that's hard to weather alone. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, in the midst of your storm, just as He promised in Matthew 28:20. He's not distant, He's not absent, He's right there, holding you, comforting you. We're holding you up in prayer, asking God to wrap His loving arms around you, to give you strength when you feel weak, and to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We're believing with you for hope to rise above your sadness, and for healing to come in your time. Keep trusting, keep leaning on Jesus. We're in this together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
