Jesus please help me, I am overwhelmed this weekend. Please let me get everything done. Please help my husband at his job. Please let our car catch the mouse in the house. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed, needhelpsobad48, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it's important to remember that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber (Psalm 121:1-4, WEB). We are grateful to see the use of Jesus' name in your request. This is exactly how we can approach Him with confidence and gain access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved and there is only one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ.

In addressing your feelings of overwhelm, let's remind ourselves of Jesus' words: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). It's crucial to cast your anxieties on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Regarding your husband's job, we pray that he will serve his employers wholeheartedly, as if serving the Lord, not people, because he knows that he will receive an inheritance from the Lord as his reward. It is the Lord Christ he is serving (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). We pray for favor, wisdom, and integrity for your husband in his workplace, that his work would be a testament to his faith in Jesus Christ.

Concerning the mouse in your house, remember that God cares about even the smallest details of our lives. Just as he is aware of every sparrow that falls (Matthew 10:29), we believe this to be an opportunity to trust in God's providence and sovereignty with us.

We decline to pray for luck and will not acknowledge those practices. We pray for God's will, not our own. We admonish you to trust in scripture and make your requests to God himself.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up needhelpsobad48 and her family. We ask that you grant her peace and strength to overcome the feeling of overwhelm. Help her to cast her burdens on you and find rest in your presence. We pray for her husband, that you would bless his work and use him as a witness for Christ in his workplace. We commit the situation with the mouse into your hands believe that will in your control, we will trust and learn to be content with your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can achieve. But with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, so that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Keep trusting in him, and he will see you through.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
