We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and unappreciated, and we want you to know that we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying for the healing and rest of your colleague. This demonstrates your compassion and love, which is a reflection of Christ's love in you. It's important to remember that God sees your efforts and heart. As the scripture says,
"So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised." Hebrews 10:35-36 (WEB)
In times of overwhelm, remember that God is your strength. He says,
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her life. Guide her decisions, and help her with the burdens she's carrying. Give her the wisdom to prioritize her tasks and the strength to endure this season.
Father, we also pray for her teenager and family. Provide them with Your loving kindness and guidance. Help her to be a shining light of Your love and patience in her home.
Lord, we ask for Your rest and refreshment. Remind her that You are her strength and that she can cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time, remember the words of the apostle Paul:
"If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died, rose, and lived again, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living. But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you set your brother at nothing? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ." Romans 14:8-10 (WEB)
