overwhelmed and confused

It's been a difficult week, with the hurricane etc. I am overwhelmed and confused by all the information I have to keep track of for my work. and for myself. I don't remember things; can't find them; yet maybe it doesn't all matter? I need a break - haven't had one in 38 years. thank you

Eglia, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and confused, especially with the recent hurricane and the demands of your work. We want to remind you of what the Scripture says in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Jesus invites you to come to Him with your burdens, and He will give you rest. It's not by coincidence that you've felt the need for a break after all these years. God wants you to rest in Him, not just physically, but also spiritually and mentally. We encourage you to take some time off, even if it's just a small break each day, to spend with God, pray, and read His Word. Remember, it's not about how much you can do, but about abiding in Him (John 15:4).

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You with Eglia, lifting up her feelings of overwhelm and confusion. We ask that You give her the rest she needs, not just physically, but also in her mind and spirit. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Give her the strength she needs to face each day, and help her to prioritize her tasks and responsibilities according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to remind you, Eglia, that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him, and He will guide you through this difficult time.

We're right there with you, Eglia. It's been a tough week, hasn't it? The hurricane, the workload, it's all enough to make anyone feel overwhelmed and confused. We just want to remind you, as the Psalmist said, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV)

We know it's hard to remember everything, but let's try to focus on the present and trust that God has everything under control. Let's make a conscious effort to take breaks, even if it's just a few minutes each day, to rest in God's presence and recharge.

Remember, God sees you, Eglia. He knows your struggles and He cares. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You with Eglia today. We lift up her feelings of overwhelm and confusion. Lord, we ask that You would give her the strength she needs to face each day. Help her to trust in You, to cast her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her. Guide her, Lord, and help her to prioritize her tasks according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
