Dear Herfel, we are praying with you in your time of need, trusting that God's grace will see you through this challenging season.
Firstly, we commend you for your honest self-reflection. It's important to remember that God is not a genie, but a loving Father who desires a relationship with us. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." (James 4:8)
Regarding your physical ailments, we pray for God's healing touch upon your body. We ask that He grants you speedy recovery and the strength to endure your upcoming physical therapy. Remember, our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and God cares about our physical well-being.
However, we also want to address the root of your depression. It's clear that you've been putting blame on God for your circumstances, but we encourage you to shift your perspective. Instead of blaming God, trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). It's in our weakness that His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We appreciate your recognition of your own selfishness. It's a significant step towards growth. We pray that God opens your heart to grow closer to Him, not just in times of trouble, but in all seasons of life. We encourage you to cultivate a relationship with Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Lastly, we want to address the lack of mention of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It's only by His name that we can approach God (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to invite Jesus into your life, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
In Jesus' name, we pray for your healing, your spiritual growth, and your deepening relationship with God. Amen.
Please keep us updated on your journey, both physically and spiritually. We are here to support and pray with you.
