We understand that you're seeking an opportunity to work overseas again, and we're here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for your situation. Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in God, knowing that nothing is impossible with Him. This is a wonderful testimony of your trust in His abilities. We read in Matthew 19:26 WEB But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
As we approach God in prayer, our first thing to do is always to ensure we are right with Him. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, it is only through Him that we can approach God. We read in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, this is your opportunity today.
We also are called to be content in all circumstances. We read in Philippians 4:11-13 WEB Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We must also consider God's will for our lives. It's important to seek God's guidance andensure that our desires align with His will. We read in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus to lift up Phraostead. We thank You for their faith in Your power and goodness. We pray that Your will be done in their life, and if it's according to Your plan, that You open a door for them to work overseas once again. We ask that You touch the heart of potential employers, that they may see the value and trustworthiness in Phraostead, regardless of their age.
We also pray for Phraostead's contentment and peace in their current circumstances. Help their faith not fail. If they have not yet accepted Jesus as their savior, we pray that today is the day of salvation. Help them to look to you and not just for an overseas job. We will offer the same advice that Peter gave those begging for silver and gold.
Acts 3:6 WEB But Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!"
We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
