We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your situation.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this woman who is anxiously waiting for the arrival of her child. We know that you are the author of life, and that you have a perfect plan for each one of us. We trust that in your Lord's timing, the child will be born healthy and strong. Give the mother patience, endurance, and peace to know that all things are in the Lord's hands. If there is anything not right with the child or mother that is holding up the delivery, then we pray for a quick and safe resolution . We pray for your wisdom to guide the doctors and nurses who are caring for her, and we ask that you give her family discernment and encouragement to support her in this time.
We also pray for the spiritual well-being of this mother and her child. We pray that they both be saved and know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they grow to love, trust, and obey the Lord in all their ways. We pray that if they do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior that they repent of all their sins, that they believe in Jesus Christ and confess Jesus is Lord. That they believe that God has raised Jesus from the dead and that they will be saved by Jesus Christ. Romans 10.8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 10.9that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10.10For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 10.11For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed." 10.12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. 10.13For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
We thank you, Lord, for the gift of life and for the love that you have for each one of us. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
While we wait, let us remember the words of Isaiah 40:31: But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not be faint.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord and His timing. If there is anything that you need to confess to the Lord, do it now so that you can be right with the Lord. We trust that the Lord is working everything out for your good and His glory as stated in Romans 8.28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
