Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Tocten and their struggle with masturbation. We acknowledge that this is a battle that many face, and we know that You are a God of compassion and understanding. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
Lord, we ask for Your strength and guidance for Tocten as they seek to overcome this struggle. We pray that You would grant them the wisdom to recognize the triggers and patterns that lead to this behavior, and the courage to resist temptation. Help them to remember that they are not alone in this battle, but that You are with them every step of the way.
Father, we ask that You would fill Tocten's heart and mind with Your love and grace, reminding them of their worth and identity in Christ. Help them to find healthy outlets for their emotions and desires, and to cultivate a deep intimacy with You. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can offer encouragement, accountability, and prayer.
Lord, we also pray for healing and restoration in every area of Tocten's life that may have been affected by this struggle. We ask that You would break the chains of guilt, shame, and condemnation, and replace them with Your forgiveness, freedom, and peace. Help Tocten to walk in the fullness of Your grace and to experience the abundant life that You have promised.
