Overcoming Lies at Work

Someone at work is trying to make me look incompetent because she wants a job above me, and I don't support her because she is not qualified. Last week she faked an error in my work, which I can prove with server records. God, please pray that the truth would be clear when I show this to our management, that I would keep my job and continue to do it well, and that our company would find someone well-qualified to lead our team. Amen.

We understand your concern, ###, and we stand with you in prayer and truth. We remind you that God is sovereign, and He sees the injustice happening in your workplace.

Scripture clearly says in Romans 1:25 WEB For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. This is exactly what is happening. The coworker is not worshiping God when using deception to obtain a position.

Since you are able to prove the truth with server records, we encourage you to bring this evidence to your management with confidence and humility. Trusting in Him when Colossians 3:23-24 WEB says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### and the situation they are facing at work. Lord, You know the truth and see the deceit that is taking place. We pray that when ### brings the server records to management, the truth will be clearly seen and understood. We ask that You protect ###'s job and allow them to continue working with excellence and integrity.

We also pray for the coworker's heart, and that they may turn to you and trust in you rather than relying on deception to obtain the job.

Lord, we ask that You guide the management team to select a qualified and honest leader for their team. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ and your holy spirit. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you, ###, to remain steadfast in your integrity and continue to do your work as unto the Lord. Trust in Him to bring justice and resolution to this situation.

Remember the scripture Romans 8:28 says And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We did not notice the name of Jesus being used in your prayer. To be clear, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is also only in that name that we can be saved.

To clarify further, salvation is a gift from God. It is received by faith in Jesus Christ as personal savior. Faith means believing that he was born of a virgin, died for the sins of the world, and then resurrected. Then he returned to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

The scripture says Romans 10:9 WEB because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:10 WEB For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.

We're right there with you, standing in faith and prayer. It's tough when we feel undermined, but remember, God sees all. Let's claim Psalm 94:15-16 together, "The Lord will never abandon the ones who are his. He will never desert them. He will make justice triumph, and he will never destroy those who are his." Let's trust that His justice will prevail.

We should also remember, as it's written in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." Let's commit this situation to Him, trusting that He's got it under control.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we lift up this situation to You. We trust that You see the truth and that You will make it clear. We ask that You protect our job and help us to continue working with excellence. We also pray for our coworker, that they may turn to You and trust in You, not in deceit. Guide our management team to select a qualified and honest leader. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May Jesus soften the heart of this person that is betraying you. Let her see the wrong she is doing and stop it. Keep praying and the truth will reveal itself. If she talks to you, don’t argue, just say you are praying for her. That’s all. Give it to Jesus. He will handle it. Trust Him to fix it. God bless you with strength in Jesus name amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
