We understand that you've been struggling with rejection and betrayal throughout your life, even from those closest to you. We want to remind you that Jesus Himself was betrayed and rejected, and He understands your pain. In Psalm 34:19 WEB it is written, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
First, we want to address the spirit of rejection and abandonment that you're feeling. In Ephesians 1:5-7 WEB, we read, having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire, to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved, in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. You are a child of God, chosen and adopted into His family. You are not rejected or abandoned, but loved and accepted by God.
However, we must remind you that bitterness and unforgiveness can also be a barrier between us and God and between us and others. We need to forgive those who have hurt us, just as Jesus forgave those who hurt Him. In Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Regarding your financial struggles, we want to encourage you to keep doing good and trusting in God's provision. In Galatians 6:9 WEB, we read, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. Also, in 2 Corinthians 9:6 WEB, Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
We also want to address your feelings about your marriage. In 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 WEB, But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and we encourage you to seek God's face and His will for your marriage.
We also acknowledge your gifts and the pain you're experiencing. In 1 Corinthians 12:7-10 WEB, But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is hurting and struggling with rejection, betrayal, and financial hardship. Father, we ask that You heal her heart, help her to forgive those who have hurt her, and remind her of her identity in You. Help her to know that she is loved, accepted, and chosen by You.
Father, we also pray for her marriage. Strengthen her and her husband's bond, and help them to remain committed to each other and to You. Provide for their financial needs, and help them to trust in Your provision.
Father, we also pray that You would use her gifts for Your glory. Help her to use her gifts of discernment, dreams, visions, healing, and prayer to build up Your kingdom and encourage others.
Finally, Father, we pray that You would break any curses, bondage, or barriers that are keeping her from moving forward. Help her to walk in freedom and victory in Jesus' name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
