We understand that you're going through a tough time and have struggled with temptation. First, let's address the issue of pornography. The Bible tells us to flee sexual immorality and honor God with our bodies. First Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB says, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
Pornography is a sin against your own body and against God. It's crucial to repent, which means turning away from this sin. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Pray sincerely, "Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned by looking at pornography. I am sorry for my sin, and I turn away from it. Please forgive me, cleanse me, and help me to resist this temptation in the future. In Jesus name. Amen." You must take action to avoid pornography, such as installing accountability software on your devices and seeking support from fellow believers.
Remember that God is your strength and your refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Instead of turning to sin for comfort, turn to God in prayer. Share your struggles with Him, and ask for His help. He will give you the strength you need to overcome temptation.
Also, make sure you are seeking God in Jesus name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible is clear. Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has struggled with temptation. Lord, forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to honor their body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. Help them to turn to You in their time of need, trusting in You as their refuge and strength. Guide them through this tough spot in their life, and give them the peace that only You can provide. In Jesus name. Amen."
Be encouraged by the words of First Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Trust in God's faithfulness, and seek His way of escape. You are not alone in your struggle.
