We stand with you in prayer, Anonymous, as you seek to overcome strongholds in your life. We commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus our Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved . As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB
Let us we pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank you, Lord, for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We ask you to empower them to tear down and overcome strongholds in their life.
Father, strongholds can be anything that takes higher priority in our lives than You. Since these strongholds can include unforgiveness, bitterness, lust, greed, addiction, and other sins, we need your help to overcome these.
Father, your word says in 2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds." We are not fighting against mere flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness. We claim your promise in Romans 8:37 WEB we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Please guide our brother/sister, give them strength and discernment to identify and overcome these strongholds. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, and help them to live a life that is pleasing to you.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Remember, Anonymous, that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Put on the whole armor of God, stand firm, and you will overcome.
Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
You are not alone in this battle. We are standing with you in prayer. Stay strong in the Lord, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith Hebrews 12:2 WEB.
