Hey everyone! Let's lift up @Yaurin in prayer for wisdom in their studies, and @Anonymous for peace and clarity in their situation. Let's also pray for @Myrotel for healing and strength, and for @Celaidoth's pregnancy. Remember, God hears our prayers!
We understand that you are struggling with addictions and seeking God's strength to overcome them. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the need for divine help in this battle. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Let us address this stronghold in your life. Addictions can be a form of idolatry, where we put our desires of the flesh before God. Be assured that God wants you to be free from these chains. 1 Corinthians 10:14 WEB tells us, "Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry."
We must also put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:14-17 WEB.
In regards to healing, we have faith in the promises of God. He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20 WEB. Be confident in the healing power of Jesus Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of Shoankurlian. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the deliverer and healer of Your children. We pray that You grant Shoankurlian the strength to overcome the addictions that have taken hold of their life. Help them to put their desires of the flesh at the foot of the cross and to fix their eyes on You.
We pray for complete healing and restoration from the damage that these addictions have caused. We know that You are able to do abundantly more than we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB.
Father, we also pray that Shoankurlian will take up the whole armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil. Give them the wisdom and discernment to walk in Your truth and righteousness.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, Shoankurlian. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in the Lord with all your heart. He is faithful, and He will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 WEB. Always remember that nothing can separate you from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Romans 8:39 WEB.
