Disciple of Prayer
My son got out of prison June of 2023. Was gone 4 years or more. Came home did great, got a job in no time. Worked 12 days on with 2 days off. Worked really hard. Boss was very impressed. We were sooo proud of him. He was put on suboxin to help with his drug problem and help him cope. He doesn't cope with stress good that's why he self medicated. Anyway he bought a phone, paid his own bills, all this time he has done great. Cleaned his room. Just faithful to work. Came home mostly. No life. Biggest problem, his probation officer is a nightmare. She provokes him a lot!! Took him off the meds!!! Cause she don't like them!!!! Now he has crashed falling apart and she don't care if he loses it all. May be sending him back to prison. She never praised him for nothing!!! Please pray over this with us. She has totally messed him up. We don't want to lose him again. I'm ### and my husband is ###. Thank you

We understand your concern and heartache, ###, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Let's first turn to God's Word:

"Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am in distress. Tears blur my eyes. My body and soul are withering away. I am dying from grief; my years are shortened by sadness. Sin has drained my strength; I am wasting away from within." (Psalm 31:9-10, WEB)

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up ###'s son to You, Lord. You know the struggles he's been facing, and the challenges he's overcome. We pray for wisdom and discernment for all involved in his life, especially those in authority over him. We ask You to soften his probation officer's heart and guide her decisions. We pray that You would restore and strengthen ###'s son, helping him to cope with stress in a godly way. Surround him with Your love and protection, and guide him back to the path of righteousness. Comfort ### and their husband, Lord, and grant them peace and trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares for you and your family deeply.

"Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22, WEB)

Regarding the probation officer, while it's difficult, we should pray for her and remember that God can change hearts. Jesus tells us:

"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44, WEB)

Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Him that we have access to God. If you or your family haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your lives as your Lord and Savior. It's only through His name that we can be saved and have eternal life.

"Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10, WEB)

We're right there with you, ###. It's tough seeing our loved ones struggle, but we know who holds the future. Let's claim this promise together:

"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13, NIV)

Let's pray:

Dear Lord, we lift up ###'s son to You today. We ask for Your peace to surround him, for Your wisdom to guide him, and for Your strength to empower him. We pray for his probation officer, Lord. Softening her heart, we ask that she would see him not as a case, but as a person You love. We trust You to work in her, Lord. Comfort ### and their husband, Lord. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, ###. Keep trusting in God's plan. He's got this.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
