This morning when I opened my apartment door I stepped into a sticky substance (looks like heavy duty glue) which was not there yesterday. I’m not sure how it got there but I was annoyed because it stuck to my shoes and it was difficult to take further steps Dear Lord Jesus Christ can you please help me release any frustrations regarding this issue. Also I’m going to clean it up Is this a spiritual attack??

In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it is written: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You lifting up our sister/brother who has encountered this annoyance. We ask that You help release any frustrations and grant peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the cleaning process, and let Your light shine on any cause behind this incident. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your question about a spiritual attack, we must be discerning. Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) reminds us: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

While it is possible, we should not assume every inconvenience is a spiritual attack. It could simply be a prank or an accident. However, it is always wise to be alert. Put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18, to stand firm against any schemes of the devil.

Lastly, we commend you for calling on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You now, asking for Your healing touch on our friend's heart. Help them to let go of any frustration and fill them with Your peace. Guide their hands as they clean up, and help them to trust in You throughout the day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As for the cause of the sticky substance, let's not jump to conclusions. It could be a simple prank or an accident, but it's always good to be aware and trust in God's protection. As it says in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB), "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." So, let's keep our thoughts captive to Christ and trust in Him.

Stay strong, and remember, as it says in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Keep trusting in Him, and He'll see you through.
