Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up ###, who is in need of Your divine intervention and guidance. Your Word tells us in Psalm 46:1 that You are "our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We ask that You be ###'s refuge and strength in this challenging time.
Lord, we know that ### is struggling with PTSD and is in trouble with the law. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon him, as it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." Please heal ###’s mind and spirit, and provide him with the peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
Father, we pray for guidance and wisdom for ###. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Help ### to trust in You and seek Your guidance in all his decisions. Lead him away from the temptations of drugs and alcohol, and set his feet on the path of righteousness.
We also pray for the court system, Lord. Grant the judges and officials discernment and compassion, that they may see the help ### needs rather than simply punishment. Your Word in James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May Your wisdom prevail in the hearts and minds of those making decisions about ###’s future.
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your protection over ###. Psalm 91:11 says, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Guard ###, keep him safe, and surround him with Your love and mercy.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
