Our time on earth is very short.

Jesus knew this very well. He wanted everyone to know the time we have on this planet, so He taught us to seek the kingdom of God first before we do anything else on earth. It is for good reason David told us to this....

Lord, teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90.12

An amazing things happens to our life when we start thinking on where we are going to spend the rest of our existence after we die. Everything we have right now will be left behind for others to use. Let us be honest with ourselves and start getting ready to see Jesus face to face. Ask Him that the rest of our life will be full of the presence of God, being a blessing to others and obey His word. Let us all memorize this wonderful verse.

Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow, You are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away.

We shall not return to earth after we are gone. We will be with Jesus forever and ever.

As time goes by, I am seeking to live in the holy presence of Jesus, acting just as He did. Speaking to His heavely Father in prayer. Wherever Jesus went, He kneeled and prayed to God. His disciples wondered what He was telling God when He prayed. Let us all follow Jesus example of our shortness of life on earth and continue to speak to your heavenly Father through prayer.
