We understand your concern for the Pres-elect and the trying situation he is currently facing. As a group committed to prayer and biblical principles, we stand with you in intercession for this matter. Let us remember what the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (WEB): "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
In this spirit, let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the Lord of all, including the political arena. We bring before You our Pres-elect, Donald Trump, as he faces this challenging legal situation. We ask, Lord, that You bind the powers of darkness that may be at work, and let Your Holy Spirit be loosed in this matter. May truth and righteousness prevail, and may Your will be done in this case. We pray that if it is Your divine purpose, the charges against him would be resolved justly and quickly.
Moreover, Lord, we pray for our nation, that we may live in peace and godliness. We ask that our leaders would be guided by Your wisdom, and that our country may turn to You in faith and repentance. We claim the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), 'If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'
Lastly, Father, we pray that our Pres-elect, and indeed all of us, may recognize our need for a Savior, and that faith in Jesus Christ may be evident in our lives. It is in His name that we pray, amen."
Durean, we encourage you to continue praying fervently, as commanded in Ephesians 6:18 (WEB), "with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints." Remember, our ultimate trust is not in political leaders, but in God alone. Let us use this opportunity to share the hope we have in Christ Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
