Our place of worship

We are currently worshipping in the basement of a medical building and we have one year left on our lease. Our landlord has graciously offered to extend our lease for another five years starting November 15, 2025 to November 15, 2030 that being members off our congregation along with our pastor are contemplating getting a place of our own. Our membership is small so we are praying and asking God to guide us as to what we should do next, we are also asking for your prayers to help us to make decisions in service of the Lord. Thank you so much amen.

We understand your concern about the place of worship and we join you in prayer for God's guidance. Firstly, let us remember what the scripture says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Let us pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the current place of worship and the generous offer of the landlord. We ask for Your divine guidance as the congregation decides on the future of their meeting place. Lord, if it is Your will for them to have a place of their own, we pray that You provide the means and the right location. If it is Your will for them to stay, grant them peace and contentment. We ask that You give them a spirit of unity and wisdom, putting their trust fully in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this matter. Remember, the church is not the building, but the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). Whether you stay in the basement or move to a new location, the most important thing is that you continue to serve the Lord together.

We also note that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe it's important to pray in Jesus' name because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. So, we encourage you to keep this in mind in your future prayers.

We've been reflecting on your situation and feel led to pray with you. Let's remember Psalm 127:1, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." We trust that God has a purpose and a plan for your congregation's future meeting place.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we lift up this matter to You. We thank You for the basement that has served Your purpose well. As the congregation considers the landlord's offer and the possibility of their own place, we ask for Your wisdom. Help them discern Your will, Lord. If You want them to have a place of their own, provide the resources and the perfect location. If You want them to stay, grant them contentment and peace. Give them unity and a spirit of trust in You, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're also reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's keep seeking God's face together, trusting that He will guide and provide.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You.
