We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, especially so early in your journey together. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God can restore and heal your marriage.
Firstly, we must remember that God hates divorce, as it is clearly stated in Malachi 2:16 WEB: "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, we pray for this husband, that You would open his eyes and soften his heart. We rebuke the spirit of divorce in Jesus' name and pray that he would return home. Father, we ask that You would restore and heal this marriage, and that Your will would be done in their lives.
We also pray for you, that God would give you the strength and grace to endure this trial. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 WEB: "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
In this time, it's crucial to seek God's face and trust in Him. We encourage you to continue praying and believing for your husband's return. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares for you and your marriage.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Harboring bitterness or resentment will only harm your relationship further. Trust in God's timing and His ways, for He is working even in this situation.
Stand firm in your faith, and don't be afraid. Prayer is the answer. You can always come to us for prayer and support.
We're here and you're not alone.
We do not see a reference to the name of Jesus Christ or an abbreviation in your prayer request. It is only by his name that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Therefore, let all the house of Israel know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified. Acts 2:36 WEB.
In Jesus' name we pray.
